Blur-ray on xbox360

Hi all,
i have a 9Gb .mkv movie and i'd like (ideally) to be able to watch it, either streamed from my WHS to a pc and/or streamed to the xbox360.
What's the best progs for what i need please, both converting and playing?
Would i need conversions in 2 different formats, one for pc, one for 360?

Any help appreciate

I use my xbox as a media center extender off my win7 ultimate PC and that does what you want. Not sure about WHS tho

give tversity a look at http://tversity.com should do the job for you. Works perfectly fine for me for both 360 and ps3

I've installed some win7 codecs which clearly state .mkv will play on ALL media centres for windows. Its plays fine on win7 Media Player, but Media Center says "Windows Media Center cannot find the specified file. Be sure the path is typed correctly. If it is, the file does not exist at the specified location....." ????
Go figure.
I'm hoping that if i get it working it will stream to the xbox360???

just click on download 1.7 towards top right hand corner. You want the free version.
