that one looks nice too eh ? its only 100 miles from you and I think its well worth travelling that type of distance for the right car

Or even - http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...page/3/postcode/sl37hn/keywords/r32?logcode=p this way you can get your DSG and also 5 doors without looking like a shoe :)

Also just to throw a curve ball have you ever looked at these ? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif.../page/1/radius/1500/postcode/sl37hn?logcode=p
Agai I tried one when I changed cars a while back and I really liked it very good quality interior and same lovely 5 pot warble like the focus but maybe a little more reserved :)

All very nice, esepcially the A3 in this case, but the wrong end of £12,000 really, I think I'm going to have to consider £8K as reasonable now and £10K as the upper limit! :(

Which bits? I've driven plenty of E90/E91 and didn't feel it to be of a lower standard than the E46. It was about the same, which is a bit of a shame really as you'd hope it would get better.

The trim panels surrounding the door frame (kickplate trim too looked and felt like something you'd get in a Vauxhall), the sun visors themselves were plastic and hollow instead of rigid and padded in the same anthracite headlining like on the E46, the centre console button surrounds were tappy feeling as well and you could push them and hear creaking, the armrest cubby holes were straight plastic instead of having a slightly rubberised non slip matte finish like on the E46.

There were other bits too but the above were the obvious ones.
