Opinions on this car, anybody driven one?

2nd hand market is gash here, and usually overpriced, but hey, you get what you can, and this has appeared today at a local stealer.

Looked mint from the outside, not one scratch, auto, harman Kardon (sp?) stereo (any good? more more style over substance?) Part leather beige interior, silver trim. Im not too clued up these days on e46's, not even sure what year this is (have already sent an email for more info), those silvery headlight surrounds have thrown me off completely.

It strikes me as a very good candidate to replace my Father-in-Law's current car (prev Gen Accord 2.4, better "badge" for him, 2 doors is fine, diesel he's not averse to either, replacement car age between 3-6 years, decent economy around town but not a hatchback, good motorway ability, budget 8k-15k which is where this will fall price-wise locally i'd wager)

Only ever driven a 330Dx (yes the 4wd one) and a 325i, both yonks ago, so im not well placed to comment apart from 2nd hand opinions.

That is a facelift model so anywhere from 2003 to 2006.
In the UK, I'd expect that car to fetch anywhere from 7 to 12k. No idea about Gib though.

Nothing much to say other than that really. Usual 3.0d things can go wrong such as swirl flaps. History is everything as with all used BMWs.

Rubbing strips and door handles are indeed chromed, didn't think anything of it, but I'm now guessing that's aftermarket?

"osters" is what's written at the back. No idea...perhaps the F fell of? :)

Aren't they aftermarket headlights too? Also, IMO if a 330cd is worth having it needs to be a sport. Big torquey engine in a sporty body to then have SE spec is a shame.

Mental pricing.

2003 model, 127k km (80k miles).........£14,995.

Think i'll tell him to pass. That is expensive, even for here.
