So by all accounts the new F10 is a bit woeful unless the adaptive drive option is specified.

Does this include in M Sport guise, whereby you can still choose to delete the M Sport suspension and have the adaptive drive option.

Would the car not sit higher, etc, or are we hoping the M Sport suspension is better than adaptive drive?

M Sport will obviously be better than the standard suspension. I suspect the only way to find out is to take a test drive. Everyone went bonkers over the normal version and did full on road tests and have not bothered to do more than 'first impressions' of the M Sport. Sigh.

I would be suprised if its better than Adaptive Drive, given it itself includes a Sport mode.

The F10 M Sport looks absolutely fantastic in the flesh.

I've got a test of both lined up at the beginning of December. The SE has adaptive drive, the M Sport just has M suspension. I guess I'll find out then

What makes the adaptive suspension "adaptive"?

Is it only certain circumstances which cause it to adapt, or is it always adapting? What criteria does it adapt to? Does it do the whole "compensate for cross-winds" thing?

I was actually hoping for a discussion but ah well, end thread I guess.

EDIT: That link sucks btw, BMW could have gone a bit more in depth. Perhaps there's a document elsewhere, will give it a search when I get home tonight.
