Bobby Kotick: “Great people don’t really want to work at EA”

I assume Kotick is leaving out partners of EA then seeing as a lot of people want to work for Crytek and valve which are both EA partners

after all these threads about this idiot manchild i just had to google image his face, out of curiosity, and after seeing the results i hate him even more :p

If he is the CEO of Activision, how come the shareholders or other directors not relieved him of his command? Surely he has done more harm than good to the whole gaming industry, let alone Activision. Not only has his handling of IW been poor but also his public spat with EA is not good advertising for the company.
I wouldn't say he is digging his own grave but actually, the whole gaming community is doing it for him.
Activision, just do us a favour and show him the door. Or the window in his office on the 34th floor.

Because he makes them money. Shareholders dont give a toss how much of a dick the guy is running the company, as long as they get their money they are happy

Because of all the idiots that buy a game because it's had tv advertising he made the company an insane amount of money, and 2 of the most successful product lunches in history.

EA sucks as bad, it's just that they don't have a figurehead like Kotick for gamers to direct their vitriol at. Everybody seems to forget all of the studios that have died under EA's acquisition when they start cheering on them against Activision.

Kotick really was right with the whole 'EA Vancouver, EA New Jersey, whatever' point.

Maxis springs to mind. Sim Copter should definitely have had a sequel :(
