Borderlands or Dragon Age: Origins

Yeah that's what I figured, my first thought was 'both' but finances dictate otherwise :p

That said, tempted by the Borderlands split-screen co-op, I imagine that is a good laugh? Anyone tried it?

Easy. Both. Honestly, they are both great!

I did prefer Dragon Age being an RPG/Bioware fan if you really can't have both.

I had the same decicion to make last week and i opted for Dragon Age and im glad i did, i havent been 'addicted' to a game in a long time but ive clocked up over 25 hours in less then a week and thats only when my daughter is in bed and my wife is busy so if i had the time i could be on the 50+ hour mark.

so far one of my top games for this gen of consoles and definatly the top RPG

I have both, I personally find DA:O to be great, one of my favourite games ever. Borderlands, haven't really got into it yet.

If you've got 3 friends willing to get immersed in Borderlands with you, then Borderlands. 4 player co-op with banter trumps everything, everytime.

Dragon Age blows it out of the water, best RPG in years and Borderlands is yet another typical-ish shooter tbh :(

Well i wouldnt call it that typicalish, its a loot fest and has a very unusual art style, not quite cell shaded, and doesnt take itself too seriously, the add on is a hoot too, plenty of zombie mashing:)

I've been playing both and have to say that I have enjoyed Borderlands more. However if you want longevity then I'd get Dragon Age.

If it's for a console, I'd say borderlands, without a doubt. For pc, it really depends what sort of game you like better. I'd say dragon age was the better game if you like both genres.

Borderlands = FPS blowing up skags and humans, melting their heads with corrosive weapons, 4 playe co-op.

Dragon Age = Gay sex scene

I say Borderlands, save your full-on rpg fix for Mass Effect 2 next year.

Split screen co-op in Borderlands is great fun and whatever your partner picks up becomes yours after you've finished playing - great for making cash quickly ;)

If its for console get Borderlands, Dragon Age is very much so a PC game

Borderlands is more fun as a coop experience

Cheers chaps, I think I'll go for Borderlands now, and then get Dragon Age next month, as I'll have a bit more spare time then to get into the single-player RPG game :)
