borrowing my dads car for road trip?

me and about 9 other ppl are goin on a big road trip down to alton towers. i've only got a lil corsa so not much room, so i asked my dad if i could borrow his 8 seater previa. im only 18 and not insured on it... yet.

its gonna be a 4 day road trip from tues-fri. is there anyway i could get insured on it for the 4 days? or is it simple enough just to add me to his claim then just take me back off when i get back?

Day insure. £10 a day though I think it's ten anyway.

Norwich union do temporary cover for about £10 a day i think.

would it maybe just not be as simple as just adding my details onto his existing claim then taking me back off?

You should be able to be put on for just a month no problem. Not sure how much it would cost mind, my mate got put on his dads alfa 147 JTD for 80 ish a month i think.

most companies will insure you as a named driver for a week or 2..

I get insurance on my dads car for 2 weeks at £25. £5 insurance + £5 something else and £15 addmiastration LOL

well i dunno how the insurance would take it, its a 2.4ltr people carrier so not really a small car

about £40 all depends on insurance company and what the minium term is..

This is about the 3rd time I've told you that Dayinsure = over 21 only

As for how much it would cost, how long is a peice of string? Nobody here can tell you, only your Dads insurer can.
