Grrr. ****.com. How useful. Now we can all go to that website and get cheap DVDs. (That was sarcasm, by the way). Annoying mod people.

recently purchased a spiderman DTS superbit copy off the bay for just over a fiver, thought it was a bargain,

also got band of brothers tin box before xmas and the prices in the sales are in fact more than pre-xmas prices which takes the urine. :o

Due to financial limitations at the moment (:() I had to limit myself to < £20 so i ordered;

Dumb and Dumber - £4.99
King Kong Special Edition - £5.99
District 13 - £5.99

I would have shelled out for the Naked Gun and Wayne's World boxsets but they were out of stock at the time.

:)

District 13 is an awesome film, just no-one has heard of it, and loads of people seem put off by the fact that it's in French. There are subtitles! But don't listen to the English dubbed version - the voice acting is rubbish.
Dumb and Dumber is also a great film, and King Kong is quite good, but not all that great. Bit of an anticlimax, but that's how the storyline goes!

Mothers B/f bought a film called "Crank".

Let me advise everyone now, never ever ever ever, EVER watch this film, let alone buy it.

It was soo poorly thought out it was untrue.

ps. if you didnt like transporter and statham in general its not for u.

Crank is non stop action from the very start ... never seen a movie like it for full on pace the whole way through ... that said the ending is so wired up I almost scratched my head raw !

The Transporter wasn't so bad, Transporter 2 however was utter utter toilet.

Yeah, i've seen them all.

As for District B13 i had to goto the crappy cinema instead of my local favourite (VUE) because they'd decided not to show it, and even at the crappy cinema it was only on for about 2 days!!

Well worth the trek for watching it on the big screen though. :)

I like The Transporter. Another one that was particularly awesome on the big screen. Seen it 4 or 5 times on DVD though. Statham is quality for that kinda film. :D

I love The Transporter - it may not be that great as films go, but I watch it for the fight scenes, they're awesome. I haven't seen The Transporter 2, though. I want to see Crank, that sounds like the kind of film that I would like. Just sitting down and watching pure action - no storyline or anything - just pure, uninterrupted action.
