Bought anything you didn't need, but now use a lot?

Kinda the wrong way for me buy so many things that I regret buying. Then sell and wish I had them back.

Right now I'm craving to replace my laptop with a gaming PC, I know for a fact I'll get bored if it within a month but then after I sell it I'll want another one. :/

I have a lot of money at the moment and want to spend it. I get to the point where I'm about to purchase the item and then have loads of thoughts of: "Is that really a good idea? Will you really use it that much? Is it worth spending that much on?" I guess I should save it but lifes for living. Atm being home from Uni I've been sitting on my ass doing nothing for 2 months, starting work full time on monday and I'm thankful for it! It's only 3 weeks though. Better than being bored!

Funny thing is sitting on my ass for 2 months doing nothing I've lost 6 pounds? :/

Swiss army knife.

Figured it would be barely useful to me at all (bought it on sale 5+ years ago). But have used the various tools countless times.

Consider it completely essential these days.

I bought this cigarette lighter powered pump at a service station for no apparent reason. Several months later we got a slow puncture and it saved our ass until we could afford a new tyre.
