Hi all,
After all the advice on here i finally bought the BFG 3dFuzion 7600GT :D
Just a quick question: would a 520W PSU do. Its one a friend was telling me about supplied with atrix cases. I'm thinking i should be fine. the rest of the spec which i plan to order in the next week is e4300, ds3, geil ultra 1gb, fan controller, titan vanessa heatsink, extra 2 zalman 120mm case fans, my existing 80 GB HD, DVD RW and a 19" widescreen

That PSU should be fine. I'd go for 2gb of RAM though. No need to get the fastest, any half decent 6400 RAM 2 x 1GB will be better than just 1GB of the best.

Also probably worth getting a small SATA drive (Samsung or Hitachi) to boot from, as that will be much faster than your old 80GB drive which I assume is IDE. Hard drive prices are at an all time low at the moment. Get one capable of SATA 3Gb (aka SATA II) and you can't go wrong.

Good choice of CPU and mobo, should be fantastic with overclocking

thanks for the advice mate. how much quicker will the new HD be? i don't really want to spend more than I already have as i've sort of streched a bit to get to what i've listed above but if i can accomodate it i will :) the RAM is staying at 1GB though, cant afford to get 2 :(

I've just moved to SATA II, and I love the improvement in loading times. Also a quicker HD will off-set some of in level loading things like Battlefield 2 might have to do. I'd buy one, and then save up for an additional 1GB.
