Carlos Baldomir vs Arturo Gatti for the WBC welterweight title

Malik Scott vs James Walton Heavyweight fight.

yes i am watching this. I think baldo was lucky beating zab judah. I think gatti will ko him.

These two heavyweights are pretty lame at the moment, let's hope the main event is more exciting, which is pretty much guaranteed with Gatti fighting.

I think Gatti should give up now, being stopped by a non puncher like Baldomir is a pretty big signal that your time is up.

It's a great shame to see a warrior come to the end of his career. I bet Hatton is reeling as it would have been an explosive, bloody war and a massive payday having fought Gatti, despite doing little for his credentials.

If Hatton takes on Baldomir, I think we'll see another fight like his last as Baldomir is a big guy and very durable but if Hatton wants Mayweather, he needs more chips such as Baldomirs WBC belt.

Was a superb fight Gatti gave all he got he kept coming back but Baldomir was to strong for him i enjoyed that.

This sets up Baldomir v Mayweather I think... Mayweathers options are very limited on who he can fight right now and so I imagine he will go after Baldomir if the rumoured fight with Mayweather v Spinks doesn't happen.

Easy pickings for Mayweather if he fancies it, even Gatti made Baldomir look very amateurish and slow in a couple of the rounds

Gatti's time is up... but Baldi is a non puncher with people his size... he walks around huge compared to gatti... gatti was too small.

agreed - baldomir is not a big puncher - i think gatti just ran out of ideas/steam and that's what ended the fight.

Shame of hatton (did you see how gutted billy graham was) - Hatton would have beaten gatti easy and got a massive payday and massive respect in the USA but is now left with nothing really.

Mayweather v Baldomir is not a big draw for US audiences but if it does go ahead then Mayweather will destroy Baldomir.

P.S shocking 8 round heavy weight fight - really poor stuff!
