Boys Names

I would hate to have an "individual" and "unique" name. I'm unique becase I am, not because of my name. Giving kids these sort of names is just pretentious and makes me want so scream.

Whatever happened to:

Harry
John
Charles
Christopher
Michael
Steven
Alex
David
James
Daniel

They're all far, FAR better than any ridiculous "I'm unique, look at me" name.

:edit: actually Aiden is ok, but only because my great uncle who was shot down in the war was called that (I was going to be called it too apparently but I didn't look like an Aiden).

Fiancee was talking to me about kids names last week (we're a few years off there yet!) and we liked a lot of the older names as you listed above. I just don't like many of the new names these days.

Thomas, Cameron, Michael, William etc are all decent names too! I'm guessing they'll come back into fashion once people realise that the "unique" names they're giving kids aren't actually that unique.

sasha is one of the gayest names ever. you'll be branded a fag and run out of town. and rightly so. next you'll be dying your hair up like a pansy and rubbing on the fake tan.

I have heard of girl names such as "Coral", "Ocean" and "Crystal".

So, why not create some new boys names such as "Dynamite", "Rock" or "Titanium" perhaps?

:D

Infact, what I don't understand are names of countries and companies on people. I know girl called China , I know a girl who has an american mate called Mercedes , I know a girl who has a mate called Indianna

Actually the name change is for me. I am 21 years of age; I also do not feel the need to mention why I am changing my name, but it is a good one - under the circumstances for the decision.

I really like Sascha...but the English spelling of Sasha looks good too. Cannot decide

But you feel the need to ask other people what you're going to change your name to..

ahaha.

I think whoever get that name will get beaten up at school, it's as bad as calling your son sue or robin. Plus he'll probably turn gay in later life anyways.

Give him a proper name, John, Joe, James, Brian, Terry, Collin
the list of real names is endless, sasha, well, it's a basically a girls name
