Brash!

Anyone got any thoughts on brash/arrogant people. When I think arrogance I think of a few people, including our beloved Gilly on here - who seems to make that brashness work for him...

Is being brash always bad?

I think Ninja Economist would have to be included in that category. Some found him funny, which on occasions he was. However, I feel that type of personality can only work on certain people, so overall it is not normally well received. On this forum, the example of El Razur would be a good one to use; he attracts a love/hate relationship, just like NE and Gilly do.

I used to be REALLY arrogant, now I'm only pretty arrogant, though either way I don't think I can pull it off...

It's all for show really, I might say I'm the best at everything but I know I'm not really.

Perhaps, at the end of a spectrum. He didn't strike me as someone for whom it 'works' though.

Indeed, I don't think it worked particularly well for him and in fact I actually challenged a few of his stances of some matters. Something I don't normally do. It seemed a little fabricated to me.

I like Gillys bluntness.

I didn't like NinjaEconomist's posting style, and I am not fond of Elrazurs either!

Brashness works for Sir Alan Sugar, doesn't it?

Works for his pocket, but otherwise he's a bit of a nob.

I can be arrogant at times but less so lately. Don't think I have ever come across as arrogant or brash on here. I wouldn't waste my time on you worms.

I think the problem is sometimes, when someone asks me a question, they want their hand holding while you walk them through it whereas I haven't got time to explain things. I've got quite a dry sense of humour too and a lot of people don't realise I'm joshing half the time.
