Brass motherboard standoff's, where I can obtain the corresponding nuts?

I'm making a custom case, and I need something to screw the brass motherboard standoffs into...

Is there anywhere I can obtain nuts with the right thread? I've tried M3 and M4 nuts but neither nut fits!

Try a proper "hardware" store that supplies bolts etc

IIRC they are a standard thread, but it's not metric (although there are at least two threads used for the brass standoffs), so you may need to try a few of the older imperial threads.
