Brave US Police Officer Tackles Crime

I wish we handled skateboarders like that over here. Bloody menace all of them. We spend god knows how many hundreds of thousands of pounds building playgrounds for thgese people yet they decide to roll around the streets making a racket and annoying people. I say good on the copper and a touch of pepper spray wouldn't have gone a miss.

What is worse are the skateboarders in their twenties - ffs grow up!

So you honestly think that pepper-spraying children is an appropriate way to stop them from "annoying people"?

would be a good deterant, might make them think about it. What else you gona do, slap them on the wrist and see them there again in an hr?

"i fail to see" - new phrase for the day is that? :p

Im not saying it is the best way to deal with it, but i would say it is better than "dont move or ill chase you again. It was only a threat, normaly they would have had a gun pointed at them to help them understand what dont move means.

WHat if the child was kicking an old granny to the floor for her pension or in the middle of a mass fight with a rival 'skater' gang. One copper against at least 5 teenagers is not very good odds fo rthe police officer.

What we don't see is the reason why the skateboarder was arrested in the first place?

What? I must have missed that part of the video!

Do you have any evidence of this actually ever happening?

I think that copper made that situation the way it was, he went way overboard with what he did.

I mean the way he handled that girl... I mean come on shes only a girl for petes sake. Its not like she was running or anything she was just stood there and he tried to tackle her to the ground! What a tool.

yeah the pepper spraying may have been a bit over the top but hey they might think twice about it now.

would be funny to see our forces take that approach in cambridge since they are on a manhunt for cyclists for riding on pathways and going the wrong way up one way streets.

if it had been the spanish police they would have had their batons out.

So the reason she was arrested in the first place was that she had kicked an old granny to the ground and stole her pension, in the midst of a street-fight with a fierce rival skater gang.

Ok then.

Nothing wrong with that as far can see, think we need more hard cops like that over in our country, sort a few of our granny beaters and chavs out. If you wasnt doing anything wrong in the first place you wouldnt have a little brute force inflicted on you, and what you got to remember is a needle of knife could be pulled on you at any time, personally I wouldnt have even got that close to them, perhaps a little more force with a taser wouldnt be OTT either, people need to be made to think twice about what there doing if its wrong, tasers soon teach you a lesson Ouch

They were skating in a banned area. That hardly is the same as 'granny beating'
