For me COD4 was also rubbish. No scope or teamwork involved. Games like BF2, and 1942 are where its at, shame there has been nothing close to those games in recent years, or maybe I am just getting old. BF3 cant come soon enough.

There's a demo on steam, ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead. A british DLC has been released for it too, which sounds fun, not had a chance to play it yet though.

Very much a combat simulator though, not an fps in the traditional sense.

Is it like Full Spectrum Warrior? I really hated that game mainly down to the length of time it took to complete the tutorial.

No its not. Its FPS. But very methodical and tactical.

A lot slower pace than most games. Massive scale as well.
