I'm not following? I got bored of the CoD and CS style games... spawn... run... shoot... kill... die... spawn... run... shoot... kill... die...

I've had my fill of those games and the vastness of ArmA is amazing.
 
For me COD4 was also rubbish. No scope or teamwork involved. Games like BF2, and 1942 are where its at, shame there has been nothing close to those games in recent years, or maybe I am just getting old. BF3 cant come soon enough.

There's a demo on steam, ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead. A british DLC has been released for it too, which sounds fun, not had a chance to play it yet though.

Very much a combat simulator though, not an fps in the traditional sense.
