Brazil v England, June 1st *SPOILERS*

Just had an email saying they've extended the ballot until 5pm tomorrow:

Dear John,

FAN: 5******7

We just wanted to let you know that The FA has extended the deadline for members of the general public to enter the England v Brazil Ticket Ballot by 24 hours, to 5.00pm tomorrow, Tuesday 24 April 2007. This doesn't affect your application which we have received but if you want to make any changes to your entry and let friends/relations/colleagues know, please do so by the deadline.

The game, to be played on Friday 1 June 2007, will be the first Senior
International to be held at the new Wembley Stadium and kicks off at 8.00pm.

After registration closes tomorrow evening, the Ballot will be held and by the end of the week The FA hopes to inform everyone who has entered whether they have been successful or unsuccessful in their application for tickets. Those who are successful will be told how and when to claim and pay for their tickets.

Tickets for the match are priced at £60, £50, £40, £30 and are subject to availability.

Hopefully that means the ballot isn't full yet :)

Like JG said if there extending the ballot it may mean they havent filled all the spaces. Its very possible when you consider they haven't filled any of the recent friendlies in smaller grounds, the only thing special about this game is its vs Brazil and the first senior game at Wembley.

This game will be a sell out.
England Fans members total over 25k alone and will virtually guarantee that everyone will go due to it being the first senior game at Wembley, most of the 1,300 fans won't be travelling to the Estonia game until the 4th or 5th June.

I just can't get my head around the fact it is on a Friday night, meaning people will have to take a day off work if travelling a fair distance. The FA tend to make a pigs ear of everything.

I think it is more than that. If you count standard englandfans and englandfans+ together I think it is around 37500 members. Just been on the forum and they reckon 24000 tickets have been taken up by members.

Stoddy, whoops. That is just me with my EF+ glasses on :D
We have booked up for a night in the smoke, get down there for lunchtime on Friday and come back Saturday afternoon.
Should be fun.

Results should be known "Hopefully notified by the end of the week" they should email if you were lucky or unlucky though. Fingers crossed today then!
