Brazilian Grand Prix 2010, Interlagos Circuit - Race 18/19

The championship is mostly down to Webber and Alonso. Should be interesting with Lewis and Vettel pushing really hard to stay in the running along with Alonso and Webber trying to seal the deal.

Really really looking forward to this GP. Alonso Engine Failure, Vettel and Webber take each other out at T1... Button wins after Qualifying either 1st, 2nd or 3rd and Lewis finishes 2nd.

Button winning with either RB or Alonso finishing would make me laugh out loud, or cry? :p

Seeing as the season is nearing to the end, take a look at this old thread for peoples predictions. Personally, I just realised how silly mine were! no Mark Webber in the drivers top 5 :O

Bear in mind those predictions were made before the first race of the season, so we had little to go on.

He left out Alonso and Webber and believed Massa would finish ahead of Alonso.

'Team orders could result in jail time'


A Brazilian prosecutor has warned Felipe Massa that he could be arrested and sentenced to up to six years in prison if he takes team orders to help Ferrari teammate Fernando Alonso win the Formula One title.
Massa could be charged with fraud if he allows Alonso to pass him or if he does anything else that would somehow alter the result of Sunday's race in Interlagos, according to prosecutor Paulo Castilho, known for taking up sports causes in Brazil.

Perhaps while he is at it he should arrest Vitaly Petrov for fraud in impersonating a F1 driver

As long as the top two are correct I don't care ;)

"Vettel quote to German tv today: "if Mark needs help, he should take the medical car". Webber apparently not amused nor surprised"

Mind games by vettel but I do hope vettel's engine blows up or he crashes out.
If teflonso wins the WDC then he must thank Massa.
 
My predictions where very wrong. Was expecting Mercedes to be in the fight, MSC to be on form and mclaren to have a strong end of the year. well that didn't happen.
 
Just had a read through the old thread...Webber seems to be the joker in the pack that's thrown everybody off. Only one person who had Alonso to win even had Webber in the top 6. Nobody, so far as I noticed, had Webber to win.
Of course it could all change this weekend. Somehow I think the Championship will be wrapped up by Sunday night though.
 
do people think mclaren will be able to close the gap with the engines being down on power and their engine being the most powerful? there is a nice big flat out section followed by a decent straight.

i dont see button getting in the top 4, just dont think he has the ability to do what hamilton does.

hamilton will have to take every risk and i think it could end in upset...again. but if anyone can pull off something amazing its him.

alonso is my favorite providing his engine lasts, with the power drop ferarri mite push it a little to much trying to get some more speed and it gives up.

think webber will crack under the pressure and make a mistake.

vettel will follow alonso round.

something always seems to happen at brazil with hamilton.

2007 dropped down to 7th to lose championship by 1 point.
2008 won championship on last corner of last lap by 1 point.
2009 started 18th finished 3rd with quite an amazing drive.
