Dat foreshadowing

Absolutely amazing. I got to see Marie's smug face (at the car wash) one minute, and then see her crumble to bits when she found out about Hank later on.

All Skylar had to do was keep her trap shut but nooo, she gave in to her useless sister and told Walt Jnr.

I have to admit, when Walt stepped into thar car at the end, I feared the worst.

That phone call
It would have been even more epic if he'd meant what he was saying though.

I hope people pick up on the fact that Skyler understood his plan that he was trying to lay all the blame on him and take it off her. It seems a lot of people online have missed that

Indeed, he's given her a way out by saying how she knew nothing, the realisation on her face at that moment was excellent. I don't want it to end :(

Simply wow.

That phone call was set up to protect his family. Despite everything that has gone on, he is taking the blame to protect his family. Even the threat is set-up to protect them from the Nazi's. More than ever, Walt is a provider.

In the fire station, there is a chess board with a White King moving out of the corner, protected by a single pawn. Walter is the White King, and he's about to make his final moves.

Also fun trivia, whilst he's pushing the barrel, he passes his pair of pants that he lost in the first ever episode :D

At first I was wondering if he had gone totally bonkers during that phone call but as he never mentioned her telling him to get rid of Jesse it was obvious he was trying to do "the right thing" for Sky and the kids.

The role reversal, to a degree (Jesse was nothing like what Walt has become), of Walt and Jesse over the 5 seasons of this show has been amazing and something we won't see often, if ever, in a show. Turning your protagonist into a pretty nasty antagonist is quite a brave thing to do and I bet it wouldn't happen to this degree on a network show.

Best show ever.

Didn't pick up on that with the call. I thought he was just having emotional difficulty being such a ****

Also I lost any sympathy I had with Walt when he told Jesse he'd watched Jane die and could have saved her. I suppose it was intentional, to have that effect, and it worked with me.

Skylar's realisation is very revealing. He struggles with the entire, rehearsed speech (flashback to the first ever lie in the pre-intro section) that will clear Skylar and the family of any wrongdoing. He is sacrificing himself for the family. Once he has 'confessed' to the police through her, he snaps up the phone, deals with Holly, and prepares to make his final moves (as per the chess baord)

Why? Jessie grassed him up after all that Walt has done to save him/get him out of trouble. I think Walt had a right to make a dig :p

And you just know Walt will end up saving Jessie in the end anyway

It's because of Jessie that Hank was there in the first place so Walt's thinking is probably that it's Jessie's fault he's dead. The Jane thing would have been him lashing out in emotion. I shouldn't be but i'm with Walt on that one lol.

I also don't think he'll save Jessie, that would be too easy for the writers. I can see him being tortured to death instead.

What an episode!
The phone call was just wow!

Walt now has to come back, take out Jack etc and then I think he will burst into where Jesse is and it will end. Stand off between the two characters that started it all.

I think Jesse will make his own escape. They now have him cooking, albeit restrained, but he must've learnt a thing or 2 from Walt about how the chemistry can kill.

Why? Jesse ultimately got Hank and Gomez killed through his yet again cowardliness and stupidity, and he even laid there and watched it happen. Walt did it to make him feel what he was feeling, an act of emotional revenge!

Jesse has ****ed Walt over more than he ever thought he would, Walt then telling him how he watched his GF die was just him putting the boot in.
