US: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part II - The finale.

That was an awesome episode!
Is it wrong that I laughed when Walt's son said "Hank's dead!?" after he'd just had the bombshell dropped on him about his dad being a meth kingpin and he and his mum had been lying to him about it for a year :D

Thats the problem they made themselves. Its take a great actor to pull off what was asked of MJ Mitte. He did the best he could but his reaction wasn't that great.

Best episode of BB ever. The next two eps have a lot to better what we just saw.

I'd love to see an hour special of Gus's rise to power. I bet he has done some horrible things to get where he got to.

'jack' and his gang are some of the worst characters of all 5 series. rubbish and i really hope they all die before the end because it will ruin everything for me if they get away with the money/meth

what happened to the big black minder guy that hank tricked into giving information with that fake photo of jesse's brains missing ?

They come off too polite. I do feel they were kinda rushed into these last few episodes and not giving enough time to develop over a season. They could really of done with making this season 6 and not season 5b.

The single best bit of TV to ever be aired I think. How any show is ever going to come close to this I don't know. I was literally twisted up on the sofa with excitement, tension, emotion . . I actually felt knackered afterwards. Could sleep for ages and dreamt about Breaking Bad all night. I never remember dreams!

So Walt finally got his recognition from Hank, smartest man he's ever known.

Skyler is a massive **** as always, but the look on her face when she realised what Walt was doing was priceless.

Walt Jnr jumping in front of his mum like that, when he's always taken his Dad's side on every single matter before. That image of Walt Jnr and Skyler cowering on the floor in front of him. His family that he's done all this for now petrified of him. Powerful stuff.

Like someone said the Holly scenes nearly made me well up, she's the same age as my boy.

Sending Jesse to his death but making sure he knows about Jane first . . that was some dark stuff!

So Jesse and Walt only have each other left now? That was the point of the first scene no? Remembering how good the old days were. Is it repairable? I really can't decide.

Unbelievable episode, stunning television.

Am I right in thinking the lottery ticket with the co-ordinates is still on the fridge door? Which now point to something slightly different if ever discovered :o

Oh and for the guy that is only on Season 2 but clicked in here, you've just ruined possibly the best TV experience out there. Gutted man.

Walt had the ticket when he went to the desert. He read from it to give directions to the Nazi group... but yea, if ever discovered, what a shock they would find.

I really hope in the next two eps Hank and Gommie get an epic funeral.

Looks like the US show Conan will be worth watching next week. Walt, Jessie, Skylar, Hank, Saul, Marie and Walt Jr are all going to be on it.

What was he thinking? He will never be able to feel what we all felt during that episode.

Exactly. Most viewers watched previous episodes in their own time, but everyone watching this series together is a massive part of the enjoyment I think, nobody knowing what will happen and pages of discussion the next day. It's just awesome.

I'm still blown away by it, the gravitas of the situation the characters are in is only just starting to sink in.

Same. I couldn't sleep for ages last night and it was the first thing I thought about this morning. The character/viewer attachment is amazing.

amazing episode, and incredible acting again from all the cast. The way Walt is torn between his family side and his Heisenberg alterego. Begging for hanks life then twisting the knife on Jessy, fighting Sky and Jr then running off with Holly then making that phone call! Makes you thing hes totally evil until you twig on his plans and see how much its killing him inside.

I can't wait for the next two episodes but its going to be such a momentous loss when this is over, it's been a perfect storm of a series and truly amazing.

I think its pretty clear now that its not going to end well in any way shape or form!

Not to take anything away from Breaking Bad, but its no different to other series', Lost in particular coming to mind with what you have described.
