Well i was about to purchase the point of view 6800 GS (AGP) for my system, but it had been removed from the 1 week only just before I tried so I replaced it with this:

BFG GeForce 6800 GS OC 256MB - All for £129.19 inc vat (was £170)

My system is a 754 with and AMD 64 3200 running at 2200mhz stock + 1GB PC3200 and 160 GB SATA HD. I couldn't afford to buy a completely new system as I had just got a new laptop. I was hoping to stretch to a 7800 GS but have decided to get a wireless network instead + I figure it may be a bit CPU limited.

The question is, as the card won't be here till monday, is what can i expect to get from my system and had anyone got a similar set up? I am hoping it will be a good card. The GC I am replacing is a FX5900. As I only run a 15" monitor, I figured the 6800 would suffice.

Appart from the laptop this is the first upgrade I have done for 18 months. Having the xb360 made me realise I needed to breathe a bit more life into my games.

I got one of these exact cards when they were on offer the week before last, and I think you'll be very pleased with it for the cash! I paid £15 more than you too! It's not cutting edge obviously, but it's still quick enough to play current games at reasonable resolutions.

ps If you'd gone for the RM Special Delivery option, you might have got it tomorrow. Although not advertised as a Sat delivery service, Royal Mail should at least attempt delivery on Saturdays...
