It's just proof of the intransigence of the Brexit supporting side, all anger at taking a concerted effort to get the best deal the country can agree on and not half of it, while trying purposefully attack the other side for losing.

We've already had a referendum - you don't just get a re-run because you didn't like the result of the first...

Rather trying to avert rotting in hell to be honest with you Rob. That's the point.

    (Hyperbole acknowledged).

The JRM thing seems a bit fishy

The police would have warned him he would need an escort, so why take his son along in the first place?

Though of course I do not agree with people threatening him or his family.

If the parliament we voted for since the referendum eventually vote that we do, then....we do.

Lets hope they don't then... they should get on with implementing the result of the previous one!

    Stop talking about it please.

Why can't people value an approach to brexit that has the most people happy? How is that absolutely not allowed in a democracy?

So he'd have the optics of being escorted into the building by police with his young kid next to him, being protected from all those beastly protesting types.

But but it was advisory people didn't know what they were voting for etc etc....

Let's hold a second referendum but with a twist.... Let's not tell the populace that there will be second compulsory 10 question multiple choice paper after the vote (for a randomly selected percentage of voters)

The questions should be about the present state of the EU.. you know questions like what's the difference between the commission and the parliament etc....

If less than 50% can't get a decent pass score on the test (at least 50‰) then any vote to remain in the EU is invalidated as clearly the public don't know what that entails in sufficient numbers and the first referendum result stands as it was also made by a not very well informed public?

    Fair enough?

Nothing really preventing it in the WA - Labour could get in and agree a much closer future relationship if they wanted to.

I'm not falling for that and neither is parliament. Since FPTP is not a direct to seat equivalent it is illegitimate for your stated aim and is biased towards what you want, and not what the nation wants.

... Because they lost the vote so no one is attacking them

Easy enough to find a lot of their general fear campaign as spurious and lacking truth if push comes to shove
