Just thought I'd share some of the pics we snapped at the Brighton Speed Trials yesterday. We took a lot more than I've got to show you but sadly (wel not really) the sun was out all day it mucked up a lot of the pics

An amazing day really, being able to get so close to the cars as they went off the start line... the smoke, the smell, the sound so loud it deafened and made your whole body vibrate! And probably the best weather we've had all year!

A great day, but even greater cars:

Ah, so that's why I've just seen over 300 bikes go through the center of Brighton... I was wondering

I can't believe I missed this. It's only a few miles away from me, and I didn't even know it was happening this weekend.

Well actually, I can believe I missed it - it's the wife's birthday tomorrow, and we spent the weekend away in London to celebrate. I don't think she'd buy it if I said I've bought us tickets to the speed trials for her bday!

Looks like a good day, hopefully I'll remember for next year.
