Bristol Xmas Shoppers - The Mall is pretty dead!

We still come over for John Lewis .

I've always wondered why there isn't one closer to town, every voucher anyone seems to get these days is for John Lewis.

I can imagine that as for many people it's quite far out of the way. I usually go to The Mall around Christmas time as my grandparents live near there.

Online shopping is the way to go! dont understand why people would want to do battle with the crowds / queues / idiots when it can all be done from the comfort of your sofa with a nice cuppa

When lots of places are saying that deliveries may be delayed, or when a lot of shops are starting sales early, it can be good to hit the shops

True, I have a few presents that still haven't arrived due to the weather . Should have started earlier, but I say this every year and it never happens.

I never bother with the sales though as I've never found anything I actually want at a decent enough discount to make it worthwhile queuing for 2 hours.
