Britain's 'most dangerous prisoner' injures four guards after smearing himself in butter and launchi

The sad thing is he is probably desperately institutionalised.

I reckon he wouldn't be capable of actually being free .. so would duff someone up, deep down, to get back inside and 'looked after'. Probably doesn't know how to make himself beans-on-toast :/
Not sure there's much deep down about it, that's the reason he ended up back inside both times he was released. He committed crimes to get caught.

When its discharged, tiny discs are emitted with a code that is unique to that weapon only.

If someone discharges it without reason then there is an audit trail back to them as they are signed out to a particular officer for a particular shift and are checked before issue and when handed in.

So it doesn't actually prevent misuse - it just audits it... :-)

but will it be like the us case wher the officer tasered the child it was said trhat whenever the tazer was used the camera in it would record to show the usage, yet in this case the camera was deactivated by the officer.

Perhaps they use a different taser system in use there but I'm not aware of any camera unit attached to a taser unit. That said, I am not an expert.

A main difference between the US and UK is that taser officers here can only self deploy in extreme and spontaneous circumstances. If that isn't the case then the control room inspector has to authorise deployment

If I was looking after Charles Bronson I think I'd taser him in the face just to be on the safe side, you gotta take your hat off to people who have to look after people like this!

I know a fella who worked at Frankland prison for a long time and he worked there when Charles Bronson did a stint there some years back. 1990s I think.

He told me that he was always alright with screws who were alright with him.

Crazy that he has been locked up for so long when people who have killed and raped children have done far, far less time than him. Sure he brings a lot on himself but it really is not surprising when you see how he gets treated.

Bronson is a fantastic film. Really enjoyed it.

As for the man him self... He is a little... Odd, liks the fame and attention, but I agree, people who murder/rape and assault get less.
