....If there is a war today between us and the other nation you come from, which nation would you fight for? Please state your reasons.

I have nigerian and british passport, if there is a war between both nations i would gladly fight alongside this nation, for the following reason - Better prospectives and better after-war plan and benefit for me and my off-springs. :)
 
My wife is irish and for me to get dual nationality through marriage I have to live in Ireland and give up my British one which I would never do as i'm waiting for my independant scottish one with the picture of a guy in a kilt mooning on the front :D

My son is Irish-British hopefully he would never have to choose but if he did I hope he would choose the defender and not the aggressor.
 
Toughie but probably Mauritius. Not sure why - just feels right.

Background - Mauritius gained independence from England in 1968.

Will fight for England. Reason - cant buy Marmite in Russia.
 
Dont really see it how the UK and my other country that I am national of would get into opposite sides since they are both in the EU but if I have to hypothetically choose, then its defo the UK since my home and most of the stuff that me and my family own is here(hence, something to defend)
 
I was born in Osnabrook, Germany and lived their for the first 6 years of my live, but im 100% Brittish as the only reason i was born their was because my dad was in the forces or something like that, or i would have to do things like German national service but i've always had a Brittish Passport etc.

The only regret i have now is i wish i had kept speaking German as i obviusly went school etc over their and had to talk it and apparantly i was the best at reading in my class aswell obviuosly reading German but now having not needed to speak it for the past 11 years i cant hardly speak a word of it although i tried learning it again in secondary school when i was 11/12 but it was hopeless as it was like starting to learn it from scratch again.

And if i ever had to fight a war for any reason i would refuse to, even if that meant me getting shot.
 
Haven't got dual citizenship yet, but if I had to choose it would be the UK. Even tho Britain is a sucky place to live (right now...) I'll always be British and proud of it.

So you wouldn't fight with Britain due to feeling British or due to a sense of allegiance to Britain, but simply because you feel you would do better out of it for yourself.
