I'm glad Nissany was the one collected, he just plain punted Hauger off track there... Obviously also glad both drivers got out ok, that would've been nasty without the Halo.

Very bad to see that accident and totally agree sausage kerbs are pointless. So long as race stewards enforce the white line as the edge of the race track you don’t need the additional penalty/discomfort caused by the sausage kerb.

Them sausage kerbs nearly flipped the medical car. F1 cars are only ever going to get launched into the air.

Its happened far to often recently. If they want to stop corner cutting when ever a car fully crosses the white lines give them a warning or two then a 2 second penalty that is added to pit stops or end of race. Race results might have to get adjusted a few times but they will all soon stop doing it.

Maybe it's that the extra safety seems to have attracted drivers taking extra risk, resulting in the safety working?

Either way, there have definitely been lives saved since its introduction.
