I was just wondering, having installed my new 970 M.2 EVO with windows and using it as a primary drive, I have been getting BSOD's like theres no tomorrow.

At first it was the reason: Critical process died, but recently its been DPC Watchdog Violation, followed by me having to hard reset my pc in order to get back to the desktop. (I get no video signal after the BSOD, even though the pc is running after it resets itself.)

I have tried:

Updating motherboard BIOs
Checking for system compatibility through Samsung Magician
Reinstalled windows through 'reset this PC' and via USB with Microsoft's Windows 10 installation media tool
Made sure all connections are in securely
Confirmed motherboard supports the drive
Ran system file checker

It seems to happen randomly, whether browsing the web or general use in windows, everything will just crash/freeze up followed by the BSOD.

I have installed windows back on my old drive, and have yet to re-create the BSOD on it.

Any ideas
