I live in the sticks with no LLU/cable etc. Alsways used BT as they were fast and reliable. Always had their top package (unlimited)
last two months i've exeeded 100Gb (PC died, needed to re-grab a lot of stuff!)
they have now restricted me to 1mb download for 30 days, and it's not even a true speed - it's very stuttery, poor latency.
any ideas? my best option seems to be virgin adsl (which is new since i last looked into it) who offer an unlimited package - and their t&c's seem to suggest that so long as i don't spam or sell bomb makign equipment then there is no issue with quantity of dl.
any comments? plusnet and asdl24 don't seem to offer what i need which is big bandwidth on downloads and VPN without costing £50+ a month
