Hi,
I have a weird problem with µTorrent, it seems to be capped at 30kb/s.

I've checked all the settings and none seem to be set to cap the downloads so i havent got a clue.

I've even changed the port on the router and within µTorrent to see if it was that but still no difference. I have the green sign , and it's mean port work fine. Previous router Bt voyager 2091 works the same...still really poor speed. :(
At night max 150 kb/s , during the day max 50 kb/s.Also i switched on encryption.

Is this normal? Maybe I must change client (torrent)?

Tried changing to a higher port (eg 60001) and turning on encryption in your client. Might help confuse BT.

Trow the homehub away tbh what a load of *****

What does that have to do with poor BitTorrent speeds?

Doesn't matter what router you use, BT will still throttle your traffic from its source...

So you get full speed downloads even on BitTorrent during the day?

my torrents average 10k at night  during the day 300k lol makes no sense

Yeah that makes no sense at all.

For me during the day torrents are slow. During the night they go super fast and max out my connection

at home im on option 3 with no cap too, it doesnt ever throttle.

When I got back home we were on option 4 and it connected at 7mb but worked at 1mb all the time regardless of what was being downloaded. I switched it to option 3 ( at the cost of another 12 month contract) and got sent another hub ( third one!) and in a few days time it switched over. From then on IO was getting perfect seeds day and night on torrents, usenet and normal http large file traffic. I was pretty impressed, and quite relieved.
