BT have rolled out a new firmware update to its Homehub customers, and there are bugs galore in it. My homehub just continuously reboots every 6 mins. The BT supervisor apologised to me about this, said it is a known problem, and I will have to wait 48hrs until they get back to me !!!
Just a heads up in case your Homehub goes mad soon.

That was strange. As I finished reading that message I lost my internet connection. It has been cutting out a bit recently (I am using a BT Home Hub).

Thanks for the warning.

I have a mate using a BT home hub - it's a total nightmare. The wireless access doesn't work properly and there's a total lack of config options :( He'll be getting a proper router soon..!

Is the homehub basically a wireless router with BT branding on it?

Looks like an old cornflakes box sprayed white, as usualful as one at the mo as well ;)

Is that what was causing all my ******** problems last week.

Intermittent connection issues, then the speed was about a twentieth of what it should be!

I have had problems with the speed. When I first got it I noticed I couldn't stream low-quality YouTube videos. I did a speed test and it came out to be 390kbps if I remeber correctly. At one point it was 200kbps. It was shocking considering that this was an "upgrade" from 1mbps.

Solution: Burn it and get a decent wireless router.

So if my BT Homehub accidentally fell out of the upstairs window whilst dreaming about being a budgie, and I had to rush right now into town to get a new wireless router, which one would you be saying ' mate, get that one, well worth it !!!'
