I'm on BTYahoo using a Voyager 205 and for some reason today even when I wasn't doing anything the network was constantly on busy? Seemed like little packets of data going back and forth. It was weird because BT also show the Internet gateway traffic when using the 205 and that wasn't showing anything, but when I unplugged the phone line, the network activity ceased.
I've restarted, disabled/enabled and it always re-establishes the connection. Now I've plugged in my D-Link router and it's back to normal? It's sat there not sending and receiving unless I'm using the net. Would BT be updating someonething in the software that only works when the 205 is connected? I can't see it being anything malicious if a change of routers solves the issue.
Any thoughts appreciated.
