BT voyager 205

hi all
any body know what the latest firmware is for this old modem and a link to where, can`t find anything on the bt web site about the firmware only usb drivers. any help please.

i don't know about that particular model, but on my voyager 2500v you can upgrade the firmware from within it's web interface. have you checked all through it's options.

also bear in mind newer doesn't always mean better. i stupidly upgraded the firmware on mine and i find it grinds to a halt after being on for 10 days or so and needs a reboot. with the original firmware i could leave it on for months at a time....

thanks marc2003 yes can upgrade with in the web interface but i was looking for a firmware upgrade to do it with, no joy yet.

What version of the firmware is on the 205 currently and I will check if have a more recent. Also is your 205 BT locked or not ?

Hi

The version of firmware I have is v1.8z. I can send this to you if you want, it is aimed at non BT branded voyagers but is meant to work for branded as well but I have not tested on a BT branded so cannot be certain.
