Hi guys,I will do another gaming pc and I looking for budget MB for i5 10600k and must be mATX.
So far my favorite is MSI Bazooka B460m but my dilemma is about DDR4 speed, how much i need or will be useful for gaming do I need expensive MB where i can push to lets say 3600Mhz or this MB and RAM 3200Mhz will be fine for 1440p gaming?
GPU is RTX 2060
Thank you

You can only run ram at 2666 on a B460 with an i5 so it's not ideal although it's probably not a huge deal @1440p with a 2060.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £151.10 (includes shipping: £11.10)

If you want to run full speed ram and maybe overclock the CPU then you will need a Z490, this ones not Matx but really cheap for what you get.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £89.90 (includes shipping: £9.90)

I'd be more worried about choosing a motherboard with a decent VRM (that doesn't throttle the CPU) and allows you to use the best placed M.2 slot, than I would the maximum memory speed.

I'd suggest buying B560 even if you're using a 10th gen 10600K, just because it will take an upgrade to 11th gen and the memory is unlocked.

Just note I've just picked up that z490 bgrade for a cheapo system, mines def a return, all internal packaging opened, nothing sealed.. Works fine though with my lowly pentium gold lol.. Just don't expect a new sealed item

Still probably works out cheaper than buying used not to mention you still get 3 months warranty thrown in.

ty guys for the tips, but the Z490 is out of window coz the mATX type needed.
I will go with the MSI MAG B560M Bazooka and Patriot Viper Steel 16GB 3200MHz..seems like nice match up with the i5 10600k and both can be under 200£ together
