I apologize as I know this sort of question gets asked about a million times, but I guess everyone's scenario is slightly different in building pc's.
Considering that technology moves forward so fast, I am stuck and need help, and would appreciate the feedback.
I am going to make a pc for my brother, and I have a budget of £800 as stated,
I would like the pc to have specs 1 level higher than the following pc, which is my own that I made last year.
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
Asus A8V AGP
MSI 6800GT
Corsair 1GB pc3200
Hyundai L90D+
Antec 500W
Thermaltake Tsunami Black w/Window
This pc is top notch for me, even though it's AGP. This was due to the fact that at the time, PCI-E and SLI were only just coming into the market, and I had no reason to go that route.
What I'd like to make now for my brother is a pc based on PCI-E.
I don;t know of any pitfalls that I should watch out for, so please inform me if there are any.
All comments are appreciated. Thanks for your help in advance.
