We occasionally have people housesitting for us for a week or two and I wondered if it might be helpful to have an old phone/tablet setup somewhere as a universal remote for Hue/Alexa/Harmony etc.

Has anyone done similar that could share their experiences? Curious as to whether Android or iOS is better and whether anyone has designed a dashboard or similar that might show everything on one screen.

How about an Echo Show?

I've got a Google Home Hub where you have screen buttons for the Hue bulbs etc. That would then have Alexa built in (why does your tablet need to control Alexa?) I accept that doesnt work for Harmony though. Although surely you have a harmony remote?

EDIT - Actually can you not set up your Harmony remote to control your hue bulbs? I know the Harmony Elite i tried had buttons for that.
