Hello all,

I am after a bit of advice about a budget turntable. I am looking to add a turntable to my setup and am just after a budget one at the minute, has anyone had any experience with the Lenco L85, as this is what I am currently looking at following good reviews read? What would you suggest?

Also, would the length of the lead that connects the turntable to the amplifier matter, i.e. would a 20m lead not be as good as a 5m lead?

Many Thanks for any help and suggestions

Personally i would look down the back of the sofa and stretch the budget a little and look at something like the Rega RP1 you won't regret it in the long run

The phono lead should be as short as possible ideally 1M.
Any longer and your risking introducing hum,and loss of signal.
Cheapest budget turntable i would go for is http://www.richersounds.com/product/turntables/project/elemental/proj-elem-red
