Hi all,

I want to make an upgrade to my gaming unit but really Im not 100% sure what to spend the little bit of spare cash I have on.

Do I do the gfx card or cpu and mobo?

Currently GFX card is = GTX 750 TI
Cpu + Mobo is = g3258 + H81-M micro ATX.

I know it all needs doing but I'm kinda keen on going with a ryzen 5 maybe.

Let me know.

Cheers.

Which PSU do you have? Both your GPU and CPU are low wattage, so I'm assuming a minimal PSU. You could look at the Intel i5-4xxxT CPUs and the Geforce GTX 1050 Ti.

Hmm... which case do you have? Is it a small one? Does the GPU need to be low profile?

Thermaltake-Core-Mini-ITX-Cube-Case is what I have, so I guess it does need to be low profile. PSU, can't think off top of my head but its not particularly bad or underpowered. Just did everything on a budget last time aswell :)

yup an I5 (check the socket, s1150) and a better gxf card, choose any 1060 6gb/3gb, rx580 8Gb/4gb or even down to rx470 4gb then more you can spend on gfx the better.
Sell your old stuff on ebay ppl still like that proc and even that gfx card (should fetch £25+ each)
