After a power surge it looks like I need to upgrade a few parts. I already have PSU, SSD, HDD, DVD, Case and OS.
I want this to push the Ultrawide so I'm expecting to run games on High / Ultra > 60 FPS ideally > 90. I've not spec'ed AMD for a very long time so hopefully I've picked the right CPU/Mobo.
I have a working GTX970 is the 1070 enough of a step up or should I go 1070Ti. I may be getting a Oculus Rift again at Xmas so PCars 2 would need super sampling with this card.
I've not set a budget if you see some improvements please say. Also memory prices are mental so only went 8GB?
Thanks
Quick Edit - Changed Mobo to Asus ROG (Headphone Amp Works on front panel)
Edit - Changed memory to slower 2666 after reading about Mobo compatibility.
