Right, I have the Graphics Card ordered (Ordered this Baby just incase the price went up when it came instock ;) -

XFX Geforce 7900GT for £199 Delivered (Not bad :D)

Now I need the Rest of the System

Already have a Case (Thermaltake Soprano) so just need Motherboard, PSU, Ram, Harddrive and Processor.

I want to spend in these price ranges on the parts -

PSU - £40 Max
Harddrive - £65 Max
Ram - £75 Max
Processor - £110 Max
Motherboard - £60 Max

After Reading reviews it seems MSI is one of the best to go with for Motherboards so is this ok? -

MSI K8N Neo4-F SKT939 PCI-E Dual DDR400 SATA & ATA Raid GB LAN

Then for Processor I was wanting to go with a Retail AMD 64bit CPU as I have read some stories of them OEM ones (Them ones that usually just come in the Brown Box) being faulty or not working as good as the Retail Version which also comes with quite a good cooler. So I was thinking of this -

Retail Boxed AMD Athlon 64 3200 Venice Core 512k 90nm Socket 939Pin

Sata seems to be the latest thing to go for when getting a Harddrive so I thought maybe this? -

Maxtor DiamondMax 10 SATAII 250GB 16Mb Cache Hard Disk Drive

Corsair seems good for Ram so I was thinking either this -

Corsair XMS3200 1GB (2x512MB) 400Mhz Non-ECC Matched Pair
or
Corsair Value Select 1024Mb (2x512Mb) Kit 400MHz 184Pin PC3200 CL2.5

Now for a Power Supply. I was going to go with a cheap £15 one, but worried about it dieing and taking half my system with it... so I was thinkign about these -

ThermalTake TR2 Value 470W
ThermalTake Purepower 430W PowerSupply

Any comments / help would be greatly appriciated :D... Or if you know any cheaper sites let me know :)

Thanks :)

got any recommendations in that price range?

Thanks :)

How about -

Hiper Type-R 480Watt 14db BLACK ATX
or
JEANTECH 450W PSU

seem in my price range..

Also, Noticed some PSU's have a PCI-Express Connector, do I need to look out for a one with that??

not that low no skimping on the psu is asking for trouble if your psu blows it will take other components with it

The Hiper is a great PSU have one myself

PCI-Express connector isnt that important as most if not all PCI-E graphics cards come with a molex to PCI-E addaptor

will go for the Hiper Type-R 480Watt 14db BLACK ATX then I think... :)

£3 more than what I wanted to pay, but at least its got good reviews :D

480Watt will be more than enough for my setup wont it? I herd that the 6800GT's / Ultras required lots of Power, is that differetn now with the newer cards?
