building a server!

hey all i want to build a server to host cod4 games on, use as a web server and to host files over my network
i was thinking along the lines of a small case maybe a micro atx one or a htpc one, it needs to be small and nothing to chunky. i was thinking along the lines of a cheacp dual core with 4 gig of 600 mhz ram and a micro atm motherboard with onboard graphics
has anyone else build a similar setup and are there any suggestion you can give me

tbh, any small case with a M-atx mobo, dual core chip and 4gb or memory use 2x 150gb raptor drives in a raid 0 (raptors as they are fast) although any drive in raid 0 should be fine

Biggest thing with game servers is fast drives and memory.

2Gb of ram does fine tbh. Nut if you are planning to allow people to play from the t'internet, be aware that upload speeds on UK broadband are horrific. No need for RAID at all.

Why not buy a 1u case for it so you can chuck it in a datacentre if you decide to go 'hardcore' later on...
