This is a (usually) narrow stretch of river in oxford.

Looks more like a lake!

Please help with the second shot, the sky was very bright, so was blown out. The gradient looks fake, any tips for some processing in CS2?

Ahh port meadow! Went down there couple of weeks ago with camera, it flooded at the moment then? nice shots:)

I quite like the gradient sky in the second one. Doesn't look fake, I didn't notice until you mentioned it! as for the first I like the composition but it is a tad noisy...

The first shot i actually added a bit of noise. It looked very bland and almost clinical without it - obviously not to some peoples tastes though which is interesting. The sky is probably a bit noisey becasue i added a gradient slection mask and upped the contrast a couple of points, it was a little blown out.

Does anyone know if i can get nd grad filters for my fuji s5600 (55mm) - any suggestion (and not too expensive, obviously i am on a budget - the camera only cost 140 - and i now see its down to 112!!! )

I like it, but cant help get distracted by the sky. I have been ebay'ing today and bought a cokin filter holder and nd grad. Shall have a play with that when it arrives.
