Buyers Remorse on 670

Should be ashamed of yourself how can you spend so much on 1 item when all those ppl in the 3rd world countries are starving think how much rice that would have got them.

Enjoy the card :D

only time i have ever had buyer remorse was when i got a new headset, reason been i am partially deff in my left ear and it did not sound any better BUT the flip side was it was more comfortable.

I've just bought a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Windforce 3X 2048MB for £319.00 and I'm already getting buyers remorse. I'm upgrading from my very classy ATI 4890 that lasted me 3 years.

Help me get over my buyers remorse! Do any of you get it? :P

just think of your kids starving for a month, just to pay for that, or your girlfriend having to scrub the next door neighbors house for money to pay bills.

your a wrong un :p

I used to upgrade to the MAXXXX... buying a new graphics card every other month. Then I found other things to spend money on. And realised that there's very little point in buying something to replace a GTX580 when it already runs everything on awesome @1920x1200.

I take it no more buyers remorse?:)

Well, I can let you know properly tomorrow as I ordered 2 new monitors the other day and they are arriving tomorrow :P

Was using a pair of Advent (PC World) 1680x1050 LCD VGA monitors for the last 4 years or so. Had zero problems with them until I got my 670 as I had always used VGA to DVI-I adapters to plug into my GFX cards but didn't realize that this new card had DVI-D and DVI-I ports which meant I had to find new adapters to make my 2nd monitor work.

Wasn't that easy to find the right adaptor so I used it as an excuse to blow even more money and buy:

2x Iiyama ProLite E2407HDS 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black

Along with an HDMI and DVI cable and I hope that they will give me an even bigger improvement.

Will going from VGA 1680x1050 make a nice upgrade when compared to my new screens?

Edit: Also, as I game on just 1 screen, does it matter if that particular monitor is HDMI or DVI? Thanks!
