Just want to know if anyone is clued up about this really. Basically I purchased a product (brand new) from the famous auction site around 4-5 months ago. The product in question is a fightpad, and a pretty expensive fightpad at the time!
Within a month of use the fightpad develops a fault, and after I did some research online it became quite clear this was a common fault. Anyway, I emailed the manufacturer only to be told I need to provide the receipt, which I did once contacting the original buyer from the auction site, he was quite happy to help me out.
I sent the product back, paying p&p myself, they repaired it and sent it back to me a week later, and it was working fine! About a month later a different fault develops, and after again checking online I realised this is also quite a common fault. This time the receiver somehow died by itself so they simply posted out another reciever to me, that sorted that.
By this time I am not really that happy or confident with the fightpad so purchased a fightstick which I began using instead. The fightpad from this point on only had light use and fast forward another month or two and problem 1 is back again. I again emailed the manufacturer and this time made it clear I am not going to pay a penny towards anything and they said they will have it collected from me, and again sent for repair.
Now my question is, I know they will fix the pad but I also know it will be a temporary fix and they will probably keep doing this until it's out of warranty, but what can I demand from the manufacturer? Do I have the right to get a refund from them?
