Buzzing sound from speakers at times.

I am not sure what it is it seems I hooked up my headset with mic on it and I have buzzing, I have onboard audio realtek, it has went to none buzzing to buzzing a few times. Can not figure it out!! I think my mic. does it somehow. it is flexidle on the headset. so I prob. need a new one.

By any chance do you have wireless? If so take the aerial out and see if it buzzes then. I have this problem and will be buying a ground loop isolator soon.

could be many things is the mic muted when its not on do you have a power cable running over the signal cable?

I am on cell phone net (no other choice down here)...

Could still have an effect. Remove any unnecessary USB devices/cables, then try.

turn off mic boost and it will stop the buzzing!
