This C-X16 is also more of a Z4-style car that drops just under the XK, then the XK will be phased out and replaced by a bigger touring coupé like the A5 (I think)!

Love the look of all new Jags, even the XJ rear end

C-X16 features a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) similar to that used in Formula One. This allows the kinetic energy of the moving vehicle to be captured when the car brakes, and then stored for later use during acceleration.

A graphic on the dashboard indicates when the additional boost provided by the electric motor can be deployed, and the driver initiates the instant power surge by pressing the ‘Push to Pass’ button on the steering wheel.

When charged, the system provides an additional 70kW and 235Nm of torque for up to 10 seconds. Power is instantaneously available and the battery is constantly and automatically recharged as the car moves.

I wonder if you can set the KERS to be available if charged by default, rather than having to press the button each time.

Definately, and it drives like one. Still have HPAS for a start

The base spring rates start from the XKR-S spec.

Pointless going into Stratstone in Birmingham to ask about this, they will simply write down loads of details and then fail to call you back......many times.

Thats why I don't use Startstone...this dealer are the guys who got me on the launch event for the 3.0 DS and XFR/XKR
