I'm sorry but this looks kinda generic - by that I mean that, take away the badge and it could be Toyota, Nissan's new Z, or some Noble... No part of the design says "I am Jaguar!" like is the case with BMW, Mercs, Astons, Lambos, even Alphas...

Only just seen this and wow what a stunning car.

So have I read this right, it's 380BHP but press a button and it's 475BHP for 10s and can return 41mpg on combined cycle????

Is it AUTO, DSG or manual or any options, weight?

Heavy then. Probably another version of the 8 speed auto thats in mine so a fairly good box but still not dsg or manual good, curburough sowed me its weakness.

ZF 8 speed Auto on the non Hybrid.

The C-X16 specs are a little off in terms of numbers. Particularly the battery kWh is way too small for that power and of course that effects the car weight.

Yeah I was trying to add some images but iPad makes getting urls a pain so had wrote that before your post.

There are a number of technologies that may Improve gear response and torque converter lockup under investigations. Plus the gearboxes arn't quite off the shelf generic items.

Nothing suggests a manual might not appear later.

I've spent the last 3 months on an alternative though

For me it's not about change speed, that is very good in sport mode, it's about anticipation and those times when it simply doesn't get it right, which of course you can get around by using the paddles in the main but its not as good as a PDK/DSG still, though by far the best auto I've driven.
