Prefer the looks of the C63 but would suspect I would want the M3 to drive more often, all have great soundtracks, and I wouldnt be disappointed in any of them!
the C63 can be easily taken back to the state of tune that the engine has in the E63 - just over 500bhp plus and can be tuned to nearly 540bhp with a set of headers. The bucket seats are out of this world and the exterior really aggressive and the exhaust note every bit as good as the american V8s
The M3 is down on power, and slower over the 1/4 mile but quicker round the track by a significant margin over the rest. The m3 is widely regarded as being the precision driving instrument and the more focused car.
So brute force straight line machine with a v8 soundtrack and an axe murderer face
or
precision surgeons instrument quicker round the track than just about every other 4 door saloon but slower in a straight line.
I am sure they are all good enough for me so I would probably take the RS4 just because BMWs 3 series are everyehere and I am not the biggest fan of Mercedes, I know it is an M3 but they don't look much different. Then again that isn't always a bad thing when that debadged 320 tries it on.
C63 for me. Mainly because I've driven one though. M3 would be tempting but it's not as good looking and I'd just be a bit disappointed knowing the M3 just doesn't have the silly power of the C63.
C63 AMG for me, closely followed by the M3 and then the RS4.
Without having driven any of them; the presence and soundtrack of the Merc appeals more to me than the precision and poise of the M3. RS4 just seems subdued in comparison despite its capabilities.
C63 for me, as already got the M3, so would be a nice change. RS4 just doesnt do it for me.
power wise the M3 isnt that badly down on the C63, its also a bit lighter anyway. yes its got a lot less torque, 55% engine capacity increase tends to have that kind of effect
you just need to rev it harder to access it, which some people enjoy and some people dont.
RS6 is about the same as the C63 but the RS6 gets a head start due to 4x4 and the C63 can never really catch up.
0.1 seconds is hardly "destory" I very much suspect that in real life, it will come down to who gets the best launch. Your 1/4 mile times can vary by 0.5 seconds just by your own human variation.
