What cables do i need to connect my PS2 and my Wii to this Samsung SyncMaster 940BF - Flat panel display - TFT - 19" - 1280 x 1024 / 75 Hz - 300 cd/m2 - 700:1 - 2 ms - 0.294 mm - DVI, VGA (HD-15) THXS

Neither have direct off the shelf cables you can buy to do this.

If you have a TV card or a graphics card with VIVO, you could do it that way by using the video input and displaying via your PC.

Otherwise, you'll have to get a XGA style box that'll convert the composite video to VGA, however the quality isn't ever that good.

Your best bet is.. and Component Cable for the Wii and PS2...

Then get a Component to VGA adapter (not to pricey on auction sites)

Although i dont think all PS2 games can play at minimum 480p.. so some will work some wont.

Doesn't work like that, a VGA socket needs specific capability to handle a component signal through it and a standard PC monitor won't have it.

I need one of those, what souuld i be searching for , I tried but I didnt get any resdults on auction sites.

They used to sell expensive component to VGA converters at Liksang - RIP :(. They only do progressive signals which is a bit of a prob as stated. Most Wii games do 480p and most PS2 don't (bit misleading since there are so many PS2 games.. a lot of the top games do 480p). Check out http://www.hdtvarcade.com

its fine I have a vga socket that takes component and rgb scart as well as normal VGA. Just wannna know what im searching for as google and ebay return me to converters that have male component endings.
