Yes i've had my Beresford Caiman delivered today. Looks the part, now i just need to set it up.
I will be plugging it into my Xonar D2. It will be mainly for driving my HD650's
One or two questions....
1. Which would be the best type of connection to use between the Xonar and Caiman? At the minute im thinking of running a SPDIF cable from the SPDIF out on the Xonar.
2. In the Xonar control panel, i have the sample rate set to PCM 192KHz. Will i need to knock this down to 96KHz? The instructions for the Caiman say it supports up to 96KHz
3. You set the volume control on the Caiman to support the Impedance of your headphones. For example, 4 o'clock is 300 Ohms, and 5 o'clock is 600Ohms. I imagine i need the 300Ohm sellection?
That is all.
Many thanks if anyone can answer these questions
